DMCA Policy

Effective July 1, 2026.

ZiDynamix respects the intellectual property rights of others. This policy explains how we respond to claims of copyright infringement under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”) and analogous laws in other jurisdictions.

How to submit a takedown notice

A valid takedown notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) must be in writing and include all of the following:

A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or, for multiple works, a representative list).
Identification of the material claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate it (e.g., a direct link to the user content on ZiDynamix, or the user account if known).
Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you: address, telephone number, and email.
A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the right that is allegedly infringed.

Notices missing any of these elements may not be acted on. Notices knowingly submitted in bad faith may incur liability for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).

What we do upon receiving a valid notice

We will:

Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material promptly.
Forward a copy of the notice to the user who uploaded the material, with their contact information redacted as appropriate.
Maintain a record of the notice and our response for our own audit purposes and to comply with the statute’s repeat-infringer requirements.

Counter-notice

If you are a ZiDynamix user whose content has been removed in response to a takedown notice and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice. A valid counter-notice must include:

Your physical or electronic signature.
Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
Your name, address, telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if you are outside the United States, the federal court for any judicial district in which ZiDynamix may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the original notifying party.

Send counter-notices to copyright@zidynamix.com. If we receive a valid counter-notice we will forward it to the original claimant; if they do not file a court action seeking a restraining order against you within 10–14 business days, we may restore the material.

Repeat infringers

We terminate accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances, in line with our obligations under 17 U.S.C. § 512(i).

Rights holders outside the United States may contact us at the email above. We endeavor to respond to valid notices submitted under analogous local copyright laws (e.g., the EU Directive on Copyright in the Digital Single Market) on the same expedited basis.
