Privacy Policy
Effective July 1, 2026.
This Privacy Policy describes how Panda Learning Labs LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use ZiDynamix. By using the service, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
We collect information in three main ways:
- Information you provide. When you create an account: your email and a password (hashed). When you subscribe: payment details (collected by our payment processor; we never see card numbers, we receive last-four + expiration only). When you contact us: anything you write in the message.
- Audio you upload, and what we derive from it. Your source tracks, the processed outputs we generate (preview clips and rendered masters), and analysis data such as waveforms and loudness (LUFS) measurements. We also record technical metadata — filename, duration, format, sample rate, and job status and history. Audio is stored in encrypted cloud storage, processed by our mastering pipeline, and deleted on request or when you close your account (see retention below).
- Usage and technical information. IP address, user-agent, request logs, error reports, and basic product analytics (which features you use, not what you mastered). We use this to keep the service running and improve it.
2. How we use your information
- To provide the service (account creation, mastering, downloads).
- To process payments and prevent payment fraud (via our payment processor).
- To send transactional email (master ready, payment receipt, payment failed, subscription canceled). You cannot opt out of transactional email while you have an active account.
- To respond to support requests.
- To detect, investigate, and prevent abuse of the service.
- To comply with legal obligations (e.g., responding to lawful requests from authorities).
We do not use your audio to train any AI model. We do not sell your personal information.
3. Sub-processors
To run the service we share information with service providers (“sub-processors”), each bound by data-processing terms and permitted to process personal information only as needed to provide their service to us. We use providers in the following categories:
- Cloud hosting and content delivery (United States) — serves the application and processes request logs and IP addresses.
- File storage (United States) — stores your uploaded source audio and processed outputs at rest.
- Database and authentication (United States, with EU regions available) — stores account info, subscription state, and library metadata.
- Audio processing (European Union) — runs the mastering engine; processes audio bytes during a render.
- Payment processing (United States) — receives your card details directly (we never store them).
- Transactional email (United States) — delivers service email (your email address and the message body).
4. Data retention
Account data (email, subscription, profile) is retained for as long as your account is active. After you close your account or request deletion, we delete personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain billing records for tax / accounting purposes (typically 7 years).
Audio you upload is retained until you delete it from your library or close your account. Generated preview clips automatically expire after 30 days. Backup copies, where they exist, are aged out within 90 days of the primary deletion.
Server logs (request logs, error reports) are retained up to 90 days.
5. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- correct inaccurate personal data;
- delete your account and associated data;
- port your data to another service (data export);
- object to or restrict our processing in certain circumstances;
- lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority (EU / UK).
To exercise any of these, email privacy@zidynamix.com. We aim to respond within 30 days.
California residents: Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) you have the rights described above plus the right to know what personal information we collect and the right to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
6. International transfers
ZiDynamix is operated from the United States with audio processing in the European Union. If you access the service from outside these regions, your information will be transferred internationally. For transfers from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and equivalent mechanisms with our sub-processors.
7. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards: TLS in transit, encrypted storage at rest, scoped database
roles, principle-of-least-privilege for our internal systems, mTLS between our worker and
engine pools, and HMAC-signed inter-service webhooks. No system is perfectly secure; if you
become aware of a vulnerability, please report it responsibly to
privacy@zidynamix.com.
8. Children
ZiDynamix is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal
information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal
information, please email privacy@zidynamix.com and we will delete it.
9. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality (keeping you signed in, remembering your preferences) and basic analytics. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect.
